Annual Youth Conference

Useful Advice

For Those Travelling from Outside Leicester

The IDA's 19th Annual Youth Conference will be taking place in the IDA’s premises. Because the building is situated in a residential area parking facilities are extremely limited. To avoid the conference being a cause of inconvenience for those living near the IDA, please try to follow the points laid out below:

• Alhamdulillah, volunteers from throughout the country have organised coaches to transport brothers to and from the conference. All the main areas of the country have been covered so insha’allah, there will be a coach service near you. As far as possible please try to take advantage of this service instead of travelling by car. Click here for details.

• There will be specific drop off and pick up points for coach parties. Your group organiser will inform you of these.

• If you do decide to come by car please car share.

• If travelling by car please DO NOT PARK in the area close to the IDA, highlighted in blue in the map below. This is to avoid congestion and to allow for free flow of traffic.

• Remember, wherever you do park make sure you do not inconvenience others.

• For those travelling by train, Leicester Train Station is less than 15 mins. walk away from the IDA. See map below.

For Residents of Leicester

Alhamdulillah, residents of Leicester have participated in great numbers in the IDA’s Annual Youth Conference over the years. The day of the conference also sees large numbers coming from outside Leicester. In order to facilitate large numbers of visitors, we request all local brothers to avoid driving to the venue as far as possible. Insha’allah, by showing consideration in this way for our guests from out of town we will not only help in the smooth running of the conference but also earn rewards.
